Women's Golf Competes in the ACC Tournament

The Boston College women's golf team will travel to Greensboro, North Carolina to compete in the 2015 ACC Championship, from April 17-18 at 6,089-yard, par 72 championship course at Sedgefield Country Club.
Due to inclement weather, the tournament will now be played over two days - Friday, April 17 and Saturday April 18. Instead of 18 holes played over three days, the teams will play 27 holes on Friday and 27 holes on Saturday. BC will tee off at 7:30 a.m. Friday morning to open the tournament.
Boston College and Clemson begin the championship on Friday teeing off at 8:00 a.m. North Carolina, NC State and Louisville are next at 8:50 a.m., followed by Notre Dame, Florida State and Miami at 9:40 a.m. Defending conference champion Duke, Virginia and Wake Forest have the morning's final tee time at 10:30 a.m.
Boston College's lineup for the weekend will feature seniors Cristina McQuiston, Katia Joo, while freshmen Jocelyn Chia, Katelyn Reynolds and Katie Barrand will all be making their first appearance at the ACC Tournament.
McQuiston, a native of Rome, Italy, placed 25th at the ACC Tournament last year with a +16 and a low round of 70 on the second day of play. As a sophomore, McQuiston placed 21st at the tournament. McQuiston had a 16th place finish at The Gold Rush Tournament and won the Hoosier Fall Invitational in October.
Joo, a native of Rolling Hills, California, placed 39th at the ACC Tournament last year. She placed 34th as a junior and 14th as a freshman. Joo is coming off a 10th place finish at the Seton Hall Pirate Invite. She also had a 12th place finish at The Gold Rush Tournament in California in Feb.
