Charlottesville, Virginia- Boston College fell to a tough No. 9 Virginia team, 6-1 on Thursday afternoon.
The No. 63 Eagles fell behind in the doubles set after two quick Virginia wins, leaving the No. 1 doubles spot unfinished.
The Cavaliers won five out of six singles matches.
Katya Vasilyev notched the lone victory at the No. 4 singles spot, defeating Skylar Morton in a hard fought battle, 6-4, 6-3.
Boston College will return to action this Friday, April 3 at North Carolina State for a 2 p.m. match.
