
Women's Tennis Falls to No. 14 Miami, 5-2

Chestnut Hill, Mass.- No. 45 Boston College lost their match against No. 14 Miami, 5-2 on Sunday afternoon. After losing the doubles point, the Eagles weren't able to come back.
Lexi Borr and Jessica Wacnik lost their second doubles competition of the weekend after a 10-0 start to the season.
Katya Vasilyev battled it out against Lina Lileikite, winning a close one (4-6, 6-4, 7-6(5)).
Freshman Asiya Dair dominated in the No. 4 singles spot, winning 6-1, 6-0.
Boston College would lose four out of their six singles matches, but head coach Nigel Bentley thought his team fought hard today.
"We battled hard today," he said. "Miami is a strong team and there was a lot of high quality tennis."
Boston College will turn their attention to Pittsburgh this Friday at 5 p.m.
