Pittsburgh, Pa.- Boston College entered Friday's ACC match against Pittsburgh with a 7-6 (1-2 ACC) record. Their record would improve after a strong 6-1 showing against 2-8 Pittsburgh University.
After losing the doubles point, Boston College would rally to win all six of their singles matches.
"We started very slow in doubles," said head coach Nigel Bentley. "We bounced back nicely in singles play. I thought we had a lot of energy and we're very determined."
Lexi Borr pulled a come from behind win against Lolade Ogungbesan (1-6, 6-3, 6-1).
Jessica Wacnik, Katya Vasilyev and Asiya Dair continued their strong singles play with victories of their own.
Heini Salonen and Emily Safron would hold their own in the No. 5 & 6 spots with victories.
Boston College will turn their attention to their second ACC match of the weekend against Notre Dame on Saturday.
