Notre Dame, Ind.- Boston College (8-6, ACC 2-2) fell to No. 28 Notre Dame (8-5, ACC 3-2) 5-2 on Sunday.
After making quick work of the doubles point, Notre Dame took four out of the six singles matches.
Lexi Borr made quick work of Monica Robinson, winning 6-2, 6-3.
No. 118 Asiya Dair continues her stellar freshman campaign, battling out a 1-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory over Julie Vrabel.
Head coach Nigel Bentley described Sunday's match as a five hour marathon.
"We played our hearts out there today, but unfortunately came up short," he said. "The match lasted over five hours and I am very proud of our team's effort."
Boston College will return to action against Virginia Tech on Friday, March 20th at 5 p.m.
