HOW IT HAPPENED
- USC put the Eagles in a 4-2 hole in the first seven minutes of the game.
- A four-goal flurry powered by Mikaela Rix and Caroline Margolis gave BC a 6-4 lead and forced the Trojans to take a timeout with 17:20 left in the first half.
- The Eagles broke away with six more goals in the opening frame to head into halftime leading, 12-7.
- Goals from Tess Chandler, Sarah Mannelly, and Covie Stanwick maintained BC's lead despite the Trojans scoring three straight goals late in the second half.
