Lewis, Bermuda Advance In World Cup Qualifying

NORTH SHORE VILLAGE, Bermuda - Sophomore Zeiko Lewis and the Bermuda national team advanced to the second round of CONCACAF 2018 World Cup qualifying after a 3-0 victory over the Bahamas on Sunday at Bermuda National Stadium.
Bermuda defeated junior Dylan Pritchard's Bahamas side, 8-0, in aggregate scoring. Bermuda won the first leg of the series, 5-0, in the Bahamas. Lewis and Pritchard started both matches and played all 180 minutes.
Lewis scored a goal in the 30th minute in the 5-0 win on March 25. It was his first career international goal.
Lewis hails from Pembroke, Bermuda and has been named to the All-ACC Second team both seasons at BC. Lewis, the 2013 ACC Freshman of the Year, has six goals and 14 assists in 34 career matches. Pritchard, who was born in the Bahamas, has two assists in 37 career appearances.
Lewis and his Bermuda squad advance to the second round of qualifying and will face Guatemala.
