Five Eagles Earn USCHO.com Honors

Chestnut Hill, Mass. -- Five Boston College women's hockey players earned USCHO.com honors following the Eagles' record-setting 2014-15 season. Lexi Bender, Katie Burt, Alex Carpenter, Emily Pfalzer, and Haley Skarupa collected U.S. College Hockey accolades for their stellar play this season.
Junior forward Alex Carpenter has been named USCHO.com Player of the Year as well as earning All-USCHO First Team honors. Senior defenseman Emily Pfalzer was also selected to the All-USCHO First Team.
Carpenter and Pfalzer also collected First Team All-America and First Team Hockey East honors earlier this season.
Junior forward Haley Skarupa garnered All-USCHO Second Team honors while junior defenseman Lexi Bender earned Third Team accolades.
Skarupa and Bender also tabbed Hockey East Second Team honors on March 8.
Freshman goaltender Katie Burt, in addition to grabbing WHEA All-Rookie Team honors earlier this month, was selected to the USCHO.com All-Rookie Team.
