Rowing Wins Four Events at Jesuit Invitational

Philadelphia, Pa.- Boston College would win four events inthe Jesuit Invitational Saturday morning on the Schuylkill River.
Their victories included: the Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four, Third Varsity Eight, and Fourth Varsity Eight. They finished second in the Varsity Eight Event behind St. Joseph's University (only 1.3 seconds behind), ahead of Drexel, Villanova, and LaSalle.
Head coach Steve Fiske was impressed by his team's performance.
"We were proud to show depth throughout or squad; great to see the team race well in Philadelphia considering the frozen conditions at home," he said. "Losing the Varsity Eight was disappointing, St. Joe's did a good job of taking control of the race early and we could close the margin."
Boston College will make their season debut on the Charles River, Saturday, March 28th.
