BC Competes at BU Scarlet & White

Boston, MA—The Eagles’ competed once again at Boston University this weekend at the Scarlet & White Invitational. The team saw many personal records broken as well as numerous top finishes
Sophomore Robin Gross continues to post impressive times. She broke two of he previous personal records this weekend.
The first came in the 200 meters, where her previous time, 26.59, was bested with a time of 25.73.
Gross’ second performance proved to be one of the top 5 times ever run on the Boston College team.
In the 400 meters, Robin posted a time of 56.14, which earned her eighth place, as well as qualified for the ECAC Indoors.
Junior Jacqui Hannon set her own personal record in the 200 meters. Hannon, who’s previous best, 26.68, came at the BU Terrier last year, dropped her best time down to 26.23.
Later in the evening, four of BC’s finest took to the track at the Reggie Lewis Center for the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.
Katherine O’Keefe, Carly Daniel, Claudia DiSomma, and Liv Westphal combined for a time of 11:24.67 in the DMR, earning them a qualifying spot at the ECAC Indoors.
The team finished fifth overall, competing in an event where a new world record was set in the women’s DMR.
