
Women's Tennis Defeats UMass, 4-0

Dedham, Mass.- Boston College hosted the University of Massachusetts Friday afternoon at the Dedham Health & Fitness Complex. The Eagles would come out of this match with a 4-0 win, improving their record to 2-3.
Boston College made easy work of the doubles competition, sweeping Massachusetts for the early 1-0 advantage. Lexi Borr and Jessica Wacnik remain undefeated in the doubles competition this season (5-0). Asiya Dair / Jennifer Ren and Katya Vasilyev / Emily Safron won their own doubles matches to sweep the set.
As for the singles competition, Dair defeated Chanel Glasper with a 6-3, 6-0 win. Borr bounced back after a loss last week with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Arielle Griffin. Senior captain Jessica Wacnik is 4-1 so this season in singles. She would seal the win for the Eagles tonight with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Ana Yrazuta Acosta.
Boston College will host Bryant College (10:30 a.m.) and Boston University (5 p.m.) this Sunday, February 8th.
