BC TRAVELS TO #10/10 NOTRE DAME WEDNESDAY
• Boston College is on the road for the fourth time in the last five outings as it travels to #10/10 Notre Dame on Wednesday night.
• The game will be televised on RSN/NESN with Wes Durham and Dan Bonner on the call.
• Notre Dame won both meetings last year between the programs but only by an average of 3.5 points.
• Boston College is coming off of a 64-49 loss at Clemson on Saturday.
• Notre Dame's five-game win streak came to a halt at Pittsburgh on Saturday with a 76-72 loss.
• The Fighting Irish are 14-1 at home this season with the lone loss coming to Virginia on January 10.
EAGLES FALL AT CLEMSON
• Graduate student Aaron Brown and junior Olivier Hanlan both scored 15 points as Boston College lost at Clemson on Saturday, 64-49.
• Hanlan added five assists and four rebounds. Both were 3-for-6 from beyond the arc.
• Jordan Roper scored the first 11 points for Clemson as the Tigers opened the game on an 11-3 run.
• That extended into a 27-10 opening run over the first 14:22.
• Boston College was able to cut the deficit to 27-16 before the end of the half.
• The Eagles continued the run into the second half and it ended at 9-1 which put the deficit at 28-19 a little more than two minutes in. That is as close as the Eagles would get.
• Clemson responded with an 18-6 run to build its lead to 46-25 with 12:14 remaining.
THE LAST TIME AGAINST NOTRE DAME - FEBRUARY 16, 2014 AT BC
• Olivier Hanlan scored a game-high 18 points while adding four rebounds and three assists as BC lost to the Irish, 73-69, at Conte Forum.
• Patrick Heckmann scored eight points in eight minutes off the bench.
• The first half featured all six ties and six lead changes in the game.
• Boston College was on top, 27-26, but Notre Dame scored seven straight points to take a 33-27 lead with 4:11 left in the half.
• The Irish lead reached six points, 35-29, with just under two minutes to go. That was the largest lead of the first half.
• Notre Dame took a 38-35 lead into the locker room.
• Boston College scored seven unanswered points early in the second to cut an eight-point deficit to 45-44.
• The Irish responded with a 10-2 run to build a 55-46 lead.
• BC cut the lead back down to four, 63-59, with 3:12 to go, but the Irish built its lead back up to 10 points with 36 seconds on the clock.
