Dedham, Mass.- Boston College (4-4) lost to No. 61 Brown University (6-2), 6-1 on Thursday afternoon.
Freshman Kent Mukai secured a point for the Eagles, defeating Brown's Aaron Sandberg 7-6, 6-1, in No. 5 singles position.
Freshman Will Turner had a great battle against Anthony Arocho. Through three rounds, Arocho would take the singles win, 4-6, 7-5, 10-7.
"We were very competitive against a strong team," said head coach Scott Wilkins.
The Eagles will travel to California for their next match against UC Irvine on March 1st.
