BC-NOTRE DAME MEET IN CONTE ON SATURDAY
• Boston College will host #10/10 Notre Dame on Saturday at 4 p.m. inside Conte Forum.
• The game will be televised on the Regional Sports Network/NESN with Tom Werme and Bobby Cremins on the call.
• The Irish won the first meeting this season in Notre Dame, 71-63, on February 4.
• Boston College has lost its last seven outings, most recently losing at Florida State on Wednesday night, 69-60.
• Notre Dame has won three of its last four games, including an 88-75 victory at Wake Forest on Tuesday.
BC FALLS AT FLORIDA STATE
• Junior Olivier Hanlan scored 32 points on 12-for-22 shooting as Boston College lost at Florida State on Wednesday, 69-60.
• He was also 6-for-7 from the foul line.
• It was his third 30-point game this season and they have all come in his last four games.
• Graduate student Aaron Brown added 15 points.
• Senior Patrick Heckmann had seven rebounds and seven assists.
• Boston College started the game on an 11-2 run with Hanlan scoring the first seven points and 11 of the first 13 overall.
• The BC lead was 13-8 before the Eagles rattled off six unanswered points to build a 19-8 lead.
• Florida State went on a 12-0 run over 4:03 to take a 25-23 lead with 3:51 left in the half.
• BC would take a 32-27 lead into the locker room.
• With the Eagles on top, 36-30, Florida State went on a 13-3 run to take a 43-39 lead with 13:27 remaining.
• Boston College fought right back with seven unanswered to regain a 46-43 lead. Hanlan had four of the points and Brown connected on a 3-pointer.
• The Seminoles made a decisive 12-2 run that lasted nearly six minutes to build a 57-50 lead with 4:50 left.
• The closest BC got the rest of the way was five points.
LAST TIME vs. NOTRE DAME
• Junior Olivier Hanlan scored a game-high 28 points on 11-for-16 shooting as BC lost at Notre Dame on February 4, 71-63, at Purcell Pavilion.
• He was 6-for-9 from beyond the arc. He also had four rebounds and four assists.
• Eighteen of his points came in the second half.
• Graduate student Aaron Brown was the other player in double figures with 13 points.
• The Irish opened the game with a 34-9 run over the first 15 minutes.
• Boston College scored the last five points of the half to cut its deficit to 41-25.
• The Eagles then scored the first four points of the second half to make it a 41-29 lead, the closest BC had been since there were 13 minutes left in the first half.
• Notre Dame held a 63-49 lead with 4:19 remaining.
• Hanlan then scored the next 12 BC points by connecting on four 3-pointers to bring the deficit down to 67-61 with 1:47 left, but that is as close as the Eagles would get.
HANLAN'S LAST FIVE GAMES
• Averaging 27.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
• Shooting .536 (52-97) from the field, .405 (17-42) from beyond the arc and .850 (17-20) from the foul line.
• Averaging 41.6 minutes per game.
• Against Notre Dame (2/4), recorded 28 points, four rebounds and four assists. He was 11-for-16 from the field and 6-for-9 from 3-point land.
• Scored 30 points against North Carolina (2/7) and was 10-for-20 from the floor.
• Played 49 minutes vs. Miami (2/16) and recorded 32 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.
• He only had one turnover in that game.
• Scored 32 more points at Florida State. (2/18)
• 64 points last two games are the sixth-most in consecutive games in the country this year.
• The only player in the Power Five conferences with consecutive 30-point games (12 in the country).
