BC HIGHLIGHTS
• Sophomore Kelly Hughes finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals, while sophomore Emilee Daley chipped in with 16 points and five boards. Freshman Ashley Kelsick had 11 points and eight boards.
• BC shot 17-for-20 (85%) from the foul line. It was the fifth time this season and the first time since Dec. 21 (vs. Hofstra) that BC took 20 or more free throws in a game.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The start of the game was raining three's as BC hit three straight but allowed NC with two. The Eagles took 13-9 lead at the first media timeout behind a lay-up by Katie Quandt.
• The Eagle used a 15-2 run and led 24-11 with 11:25 to play.
• BC went cold and NC State cut the lead to nine points on a 3-pointer with 6:10 to play. In the final five minutes of the half, BC outscored NC State, 5-0, to take a 31-20 lead.
• To start the second half, NC State went on a 10-2 run behind three turnovers from the Eagles - BC 33, NC State 30 - 16:12.
• The Eagles shot back with two three's and with 11:34, BC held a 41-37 lead.
• Two straight buckets by Marti Mosetti put BC ahead, 45-37 with 9:21 left. An 8-3 run by BC pushed the lead to 53-42 with 5:43. The Eagles then crumbled as NC State outscored BC, 10-2, including a three to tie the game at 55-55, with 24.9 left on the clock.
• The Eagles then lost the ball on the inbounds and NC State had the ball with 24.9 to play. NC State's last shot was blocked and the game went into overtime.
OVERTIME
• BC outscored NC State, 9-4, in overtime, behind four points from Kelly Hughes.
• The Eagles pulled away in overtime when Emilee Daley hit two foul shots to go up, 60-59. After a missed three by NC State Hughes pulled down a huge defensive board. She then went backdoor on a pass from Karima Gabriel to give BC a three point lead.
• NC State proceeded to miss three consecutive shots and Hughes nailed two freebies with two seconds left to seal the win.

• BC held a 14 point lead in the first half and led for 40:58 minutes of the game.
TEAM NOTES
• BC started three freshmen - Martina Mosetti, Katie Quandt and Ashley Kelsick - for the fourth consecutive game. The three rookies combined for 20 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and seven steals.
• Sophomore Emilee Daley has scored in double-figures in nine of the last 11 games in which she has started.
• Sophomore Kelly Hughes was name the ACC Player of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office for her 32-point performance in the win over Wake Forest.
• BC has won two consecutive games for the first time since the end of December.
• BC's Play4Kay "Pink Game" will take place on Sunday, Feb. 22 as the Eagles host FSU at 1 p.m. Free admission for those fans wearing pink.
