HOW IT HAPPENED
• Syracuse took a10-2 lead as BC committed five turnovers in the first five minutes. The Orange lead grew t 13 points at 11:41, behind 5-for-7 shooting from long range.
• Brianna Butler hit her fifth three-pointer at 9:52 to give Syracuse a, 33-13, lead . • BC cut the lead to 13 points on a 10-0 run but Butler hit her sixth three and the Cuse extended the lead, 41-26, with 2:06 to play.
• The Eagles were down, 45-28, at the half as Butler led Syracuse with 20 points (six three's). BC was led by Kelly Hughes with 11 points and five boards.
• A 10-2 run in the second half gave Syracuse a 55-31 lead at the first media timeout.
• Turnovers continue to take its toll on the Eagles. With 11:57 to play, BC was down, 60-33, and committed 23 turnovers.
