
Women's Tennis Falls to No. 70 Brown, 5-2

Chestnut Hill, Mass.- No. 57 Boston College hosted No. 70 Brown University Friday afternoon. The singles competition proved to be their downfall after a 5-2 loss.
Boston College looked like they hadn't skipped a beat, attaining the early doubles point. Jessica Wacnik and Lexi Borr continued their undefeated doubles play by winning a close one, 7-6. Brown would manage to tie it up, but Katya Vasilyev and Emily Safron would get the easy 6-1 win to give Boston College the win in the doubles competition.
Brown took over in the singles competition, winning five out of the six. Katya Vasilyev was the lone singles winner, battling it out against Ammu Mandalap (6-4, 7-5).
The Eagles will turn their attention to Syracuse on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
