BC is coming off a tough loss to No. 4/4 Notre Dame on Sunday. Sophomore Emilee Daley led the Eagles with a career-high 18 points while freshman Katie Quandt chipped in with 10 points.
Wake Forest lost to NC State, 71-55, on Sunday afternoon. Senior Dearica Hamby led the Decs with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

• Today's game is the 12th time the two teams have met. Wake Forest leads the series, 8-3.
• Boston College has not defeated Wake Forest since the 2008 season. BC earned a 66-58 victory behind 14 points from Mickel Picco and 15 points from Carolyn Swords. Ayla Brown chipped in with eight points and 11 rebounds.
• Last year, BC suffered a tough home loss to Wake Forest, 56-50, at Conte Forum. • BC has had 11 starting lineups in 22 games. The Eagles have started three rookies - Ashley Kelsick, Katie Quandt and Martina Mosetti - in the last two games. Kelsick leads all freshmen with 17 starts, while Quandt and Mosetti have 11 starts apiece.
• The Eagles averaged 74.5 points in the 10 wins this season compared to the 61.2 points per game in the 13 losses.
• Sophomore Kelly Hughes had led BC in scoring in 11 games, while fellow sophomore Emilee Daley has led the team in five games. Junior Nicole Boudreau has been the teams' leading scorer in five games and seven games in assists.
• Freshman Martina Mosetti has led the team in assists in three of the last four games.
• Kelly Hughes needs four rebounds to reach 300 career boards. She needs just 43 points to reach 700 career points.
THIS DAY IN HISTORY
• On Feb. 12, 1986, Boston College defeated Connecticut, 59-55, on the road. BC was led by Marie Grant with 20 points and Ann Odoy added 17, Grant also had 11 boards. Grant led the Eagles in scoring (14.2 ppg.) and rebounding (8.52) and rebounding that season. Kathy Sweet averaged 12 points and 6.28 rebounds a game while Ann Odoy averaged 11.7 points and 4.1 assists per game. BC actually advanced to the Big East Championship that season but lost to Providence, 95-78.

• Fans remember Sunday's game vs. NC State will be Alumni Day. The game will begin at 2 p.m. and a number of former BC players will be honored at halftime. Some former Eagles expected to attend include Kerri Shields '12, Kristen Doherty '13, Vic Jones '08, Kindyll Dorsey '06, Nicole Conway '05, Amy LaCombe '87 and Lynn Levins '83.
• On Sunday, Feb. 22, Boston College will participate in the Kay Yow "Play4Kay" Initiative. The Eagles will host No. 7/7 Florida State at 1 p.m. The team will don new Under Armour uniforms, with pink sneakers. During the warm up the team will wear a Play4Kay t-shirt with the No. 15 on the sleeve, which honors former Eagles guard Clare Droesch, who is currently battling cancer.
