Two Eagles Earn NCAA All-Academic Honors

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Boston College women’s cross country senior Liv Westphal and junior Danielle Winslow earned NCAA DI individual All-Academic honors as announced by the USTFCCCA Wednesday afternoon.
This is the Westphal’s second straight NCAA DI All-Academic accolade.
Recipients of the individual All-Academic honor must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher while being a DI All-American finisher or top 25 finisher at an NCAA DI Regional meet.
Westphal earned All-American honors at the NCAA Championship meet, finishing in 20:37.4 in 30th place overall. Winslow qualified with her 20:50.18, 17th place finish at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
The 2014 Eagles also earned All-Academic status as a team. In order to qualify for All-Academic honors, a team has to post a cumulative GPA above 3.00.
This is the team’s fifth consecutive year receiving the USTFCCCA DI All-Academic honor.
