Daley, Hanlan Named Eagles of the Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sophomore guard/forward Emilee Daley (women's basketball) and junior guard Olivier Hanlan (men's basketball) have been named Eagles of the Week.
Daley averaged 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals over two games last week. She shot .375 from the floor and .410 from the 3-point line. Daley had 13 points and a career-high nine rebounds in the win vs. Clemson. On Sunday, she notched her career-high of 18 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Daley has notched double-figures in scoring in the last seven games.
Hanlan averaged 29.0 points, 2.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds against #10/10 Notre Dame and #12/13 North Carolina while playing all 80 minutes last week. The 58 points he scored were the most in consecutive games by any ACC player this season. Hanlan shot .583 (21-for-36) from the floor, .444 (8-for-18) from beyond the arc and .889 (8-for-9) from the free throw line. Against the Irish, he recorded 28 points, four rebounds and four assists. Hanlan then scored 30 points against Louisville, his third 30-point game of his career.
Women's basketball (10-13, 2-8 ACC) is at Wake Forest on Thursday before hosting NC State on Sunday at 2 p.m. Men's basketball (9-13, 1-9 ACC) will host Syracuse on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Miami on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
