Women’s Tennis Closes Fall Season at Brown Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Boston College women's tennis team wrapped up the fall season at the Brown Hidden-Dual Invitational last weekend, drawing wins over Utah and Arkansas in two days of competition at Brown University.
Junior Lexi Borr went a combined 4-0, while sophomore Asiya Dair and freshman Jackie Urbinati went 3-1.
"It was a solid weekend of tennis for us," head coach Nigel Bentley said. "We've been working hard in practice and we competed well in both our matches. It was fun to play against two nationally ranked out of region teams, Utah and Arkansas who we don't often see."
After the winter break, the women return to action on Sunday, Jan. 17, when the team opens ACC action with Virginia at 10 a.m. the Flynn Recreation Complex.
