Eagles Sailing Recap: Week 8

Boston College Sailing competed in four separate regattas on the weekend of November 7th.
Boston College sent several sailors to compete in the Hap Moore Team Race – Two Conference Regatta hosted by the Coast Guard Academy. The Eagles finished the regatta in third place, falling only to Brown and St. Mary's College of Maryland. Henry Dumke, Peter Lynn, Fiona Walsh and Harry Koeppel all had strong weekends for the Eagles.
The Eagles Sailing Team also competed in the Fourth Sister Esther Annual Regatta hosted by Salve Regina. Boston College finished in second place of the A division and in first place of the B division of the regatta. Drake Lyon and Hannah Lynn performed well for the Eagles over the weekend.
Boston College also competed in the Mike Horn Trophy Regatta. The Eagles won the regatta after finishing tied for first with Boston University and prevailing due to head-to-head points. Caroline Downey and Megan Bamford performed well for the Eagles over the weekend.
