BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Kelly Hughes led Boston College with 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
- Junior Emilee Daley had 12 points while senior Nicole Boudreau chipped in with 11 points.
- BC never recovered from a 10-2 Sooners run to open up the final quarter.
- BC went up 7-2 behind a Hughes three and layups by Mariella Fasoula and Emilee Daley. Oklahoma punched the ball down low as the Sooners tied the game, 7-7, on a three-point play by Peyton Little. The two teams traded baskets and the first quarter ended at 12-12.
- The second period was much the same the teams traded hoops. Hughes gave BC a 22-18 lead on a three point with 3:41 to play. Daley hit a long three to give BC a five point lead with three minutes to play. Oklahoma called a timeout and outscored BC, 5-2, in the final 2:22 as the teams were tied 27-27 at the half. Hughes led BC with 12 points at the half.
- Hughes fifth three-pointer gave BC a 30-27 lead to open the third period. Nicole Boudreau hit two consecutive three's and BC had a one-point lead, 42-41. Oklahoma finished the period on a 6-0 to take a 47-44 lead.
- Oklahoma opened up the fourth stanza with a 10-2 run to go out 57-46. A foul shot by Fasoula and one by Boudreau stopped the Sooners run. A layup by Marti Mosetti with 5:12 to play cut the Sooners lead to 10 points.
- With 4:26 Mosetti fouled out and the Sooners had a 12 point lead. The lead grew as the Sooners pounded it inside. Vionise Pierre Louis and KaylonWilliams combined for 16 points in the quarter, Pier Luis had nine.
- Boston College started Ella Awobajo, Mariella Fasoula, Martina Mosetti, Nicole Boudreau and Kelly Hughes for the second consecutive game. It was the second consecutive start for Fasoula, a freshman center from Greece.
- The Eagles shot 5-for-13 from long range at the half. Hughes hit 4-of-7 attempts while Emilee Daley was 1-of-4. BC finished 10-for-22 from the arc with Hughes hitting five on the night.
- The BC bench outscored Oklahoma, 26-21, behind 12 points from Emilee Daley.
- Senior Nicole Boudreau and junior Kelly Hughes were named to the Junkanoo Jam All-Tournament team.
