Women's hockey set for second top-five test in a week on Saturday

SATURDAY'S HEADLINES
- BC features eight players ranked in the nation's top 50 spots in points per game, most of any team in the country
- BC is ranked second nationally (5.38 gpg) and Northeastern fourth nationally (4.67 gpg) in scoring offense
- Alex Carpenter (20-16-36) leads the nation in scoring, while Northeastern's Kendall Coyne (21-12-33) is second ... Haley Skarupa is sixth nationally in points per game (1.94, 13-18-31), while NU's Denisa Krizova is eighth (1.79, 7-18-25)
- Kristyn Capizzano is in the midst of a nine-game point streak during which she's recorded 12 points (3g, 9a), while Dana Trivigno has at least one point in each of the last six games, recording 11 points in that span

TRIVIGNO KNOCKING ON TOP 10's DOOR
Dana Trivigno became the latest Eagle to hit the 100-point mark on her career and she's set to join the top 10 in scoring in short order ... Trivigno enters Saturday's game 11th place in the BC scoring charts with 107 points, six points back of 10th place (113 - Mary Restuccia '12). ... her first-period goal on Nov. 10 against BU was her 100th career point, becoming the 12th player in BC history to reach that 100-point plateau ... Trivigno is the third player of the Class of '16 to reach 100 points.
TIP OF THE HAT
BC players have recorded five hat tricks this season ... Alex Carpenter (3), Haley Skarupa (1) and Makenna Newkirk (1) have all potted three goals in a game this season ... the Eagles' five hat tricks this year is the team's highest total since the 2012-13 season when they had six: Alex Carpenter (3), Haley Skarupa (2) and Dana Trivigno (1).

EAGLES STACKED ATOP HEA CAREER SCORING
Alex Carpenter enters the weekend third in HEA career scoring with 127 points, behind Kelli Stack '11, 133 pts., and Northeastern's Kendall Coyne '16 who has 130 career points ... Haley Skarupa is sixth in career scoring with 113 points in league contests ... Carpenter is second behind Coyne for the conference's lead in career scoring among active players, while Skarupa is third.
CAPIZZANO COMING ON STRONG
Kristyn Capizzano has been a quiet force for the Eagles in league play this year ... the junior enters the weekend ranked fourth in conference (only) scoring with 15 points (5g, 10a) and 18 points overall ... Capizzano currently has the team's longest active point streak at nine games, during which time she's collected 12 points.
