Chris Campbell discusses past weekend, ACC play and upcoming homestand
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - After a weekend that saw the Boston College Eagles take a 3-0 set at Notre Dame Friday night before falling by the same score to Louisville on Sunday afternoon, volleyball coach Chris Campbell sat down to discuss his team's performance in both games.
He also addressed the difficulty of the Atlantic Coast Conference, a conference that currently has one team in the top 25 of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll, one team receiving votes and 10 teams that are in the top 100 for RPI.
Finally, Campbell discussed the importance of his team's return to the Heights for a four game home stand.
The Maroon and Gold return to action Friday night against Virginia Tech at 7:30 pm, a game that will be played inside Conte Forum instead of their regular Power Gym location. Then on Sunday, the squad will take on Pittsburgh on national television as Fox Sports Network carries the game in the first ever nationally televised game from inside Power Gym. Sunday's game will begin at 2:30 pm.
