Women’s Tennis Wraps Up ITA Regional Play

Dair advances to the Round of 16 at regional championship
HANOVER, N.H. – Members of the Boston College women's tennis team competed in the annual ITA Northeast Regional over the weekend, highlighted by sophomore Asiya Dair's Round of 16 appearance in the main draw.
Six different Eagles played in singles brackets – four in the main draw, and two in the secondary draw – while three teams saw doubles action.
"I think all of us are disappointed with our performance at the regional championships," head coach Nigel Bentley said. "We struggled on the no ad on points and overall just didn't play our best tennis. We need to improve in many areas and get healthy. Hopefully we can learn from the experience. This is a great tournament and Dartmouth did an outstanding job hosting the event."
