Kuechly back to All-Pro form
Will Blackmon – DB Washington Redskins
Blackmon recorded one tackle in Washington's 20-34 loss to the New York Jets. Blackmon and Washington will look to bounce back at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week six.
Anthony Castonzo – LT Indianapolis Colts
Castonzo helped the Colts offensive line hold the fourth-ranked New England Patriots pass rush to three sacks of Andrew Luck. He also helped the Colts backfield rush for 120 yards on 22 carries. Despite the good effort from Castonzo and the Colts, they fell to the Patriots, 34-27. The Colts look to bounce back from the loss on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
Gosder Cherilus – RT Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Cherilus and the Bucs were on a bye in week six. They will look to build on a week five win against the Jaguars when they travel to Washington for a week seven matchup.
Kasim Edebali – LB New Orleans Saints
Edebali recorded one tackle for the Saints in week six and it was a sack of fellow Eagle alum Matt Ryan. Edebali's sack was a nice contribution in the New Orleans Saints' huge victory over the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints move to 2-4 with a chance to salvage their season, and will be on the road in Indianapolis in week seven hoping to make it two wins in a row.
Andy Gallik – C Tennessee Titans
Gallik is the backup center for the Titans, who fell to the Miami Dolphins, 38-10, this past week. They will look to rebound from the loss against the Falcons in week seven.
Matt Hasselbeck – QB Indianapolis Colts
After leading the Colts to two wins in the absence of Pro Bowler Andrew Luck, Hasselbeck returned to his backup role this week. The Colts fell to the New England Patriots, 34-27, in week six.
Mark Herzlich – LB New York Giants
Herzlich recorded one tackle in the Giants' 27-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in week six. Next up, the Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys in a crucial division matchup this Sunday.
Luke Kuechly – LB Carolina Panthers
The two-time All-Pro linebacker returned to the field in week six after missing the previous three games while recovering from a concussion. Kuechly did not skip a beat in his return by leading the Panthers with 14 tackles, including five solo stops, in their 27-23 win over the Seattle Seahawks. The Panthers are now 5-0 and with the return of the heart of their defense, they will be a tough matchup for anyone in the league. Next up are the Philadelphia Eagles in week seven on Sunday Night Football.
Kevin Pierre-Louis – LB Seattle Seahawks
KPL had the best game of his career with 11 tackles, 3 solo, in the Seahawks 23-27 loss to the Panthers. Pierre-Louis has spent most of the season playing with the special teams unit but was given the chance to contribute in week six against the Panthers. KPL and the Seahawks face a short turnaround in week seven as they face division rival San Francisco on Thursday Night Football.
Ryan Quigley – P New York Jets
Quigley only had one punt in week six and it was for 49 yards and pinned Washington inside its 20-yard line. Quigley and the Jets are 4-1 heading into a week seven matchup against their undefeated AFC East rival New England.
B.J. Raji – DL Green Bay Packers
Raji missed the Packers week six matchup against the San Diego Chargers due to a groin injury. The Packers managed to pull out the win, 27-20, but missed Raji's defensive presence. Luckily the Packers have a week seven bye, so hopefully Raji will benefit from the off week in order to return for week eight against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.
Matt Ryan – QB Atlanta Falcons
Ryan and the Falcons fell to the New Orleans Saints 21-31 in week 6. Ryan threw the ball for 30 completions on 44 attempts for 295 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had no interceptions but was sacked five times. The Falcons fell to 5-1, ending their incredible 5-0 start. Ryan and the Falcons will look to bounce back from the divisional loss on the road against the Tennessee Titans in week seven.
Ian Silberman – OL San Francisco 49ers
Silberman is the backup left guard for the 49ers.Â
Andre Williams – RB New York Giants
Williams carried the ball five times for a total of six yards in the Giants' Monday night loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Both Williams and the Giants will look to bounce back with a strong performance against the Dallas Cowboys in week seven.
