BC Highlights
- Boston College Women's Cross Country team finished first in both the JV and Varsity 5K races. The Eagles had the top finisher in both divisions, Ashbrook Gwinn and Laura Hottenrott, respectively.
- Senior Laura Hottenrott took first by three seconds, finishing just in front of her teammate, Isabelle Kennedy. Hottenrott finished in 17:39.0, garnering not only the top spot, but also Eagle of the Week and ACC XC Performer of the Week.
- Isabelle Kennedy finished in second place with a time of 17:41.9, her second fastest time in her college career. Senior Danielle Winslow rounded out BC's top-3 by finishing in fourth place with a time of 17:45.7.
- The Eagles first place finish in the JV event came on the effort of sophomore Ashbrook Gwinn, finishing first with a time of 18:33.2.
- Gwinn's finish was the second fastest of her collegiate career, trailing only her performance at the 2014 Minuteman Invitational.
- Junior Danna Levin took third in the JV event, finishing with a time of 18:49.5, a new cross-country personal record.
- Laura Hottenrott – 17:39.1—1st place
- Isabelle Kennedy—17:41.9—2nd place
- Danielle Winslow—17:45.7—4th place
- Ashbrook Gwinn—18:33.2—1st place
- Danna Levin—18:49.5—3rd place
- Megan Ritchie—18:59.9—5th place
- The Eagles will head to the University of Wisconsin this weekend for the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational.
