Eagles In Fourth After Two Rounds In Connecticut

ELLINGSTON, Conn. – The Boston College men's golf team is in fourth place after two rounds of The Connecticut Cup, hosted by the University of Connecticut at Ellington Ridge Club.
The final round will be played on Monday.
TCU is the 36-hole leader with a team score of -12. Dartmouth is in second (+3) while UConn is in third (+5). Boston College (+12) and Bryant (+12) round out the top five.
Sophomore Patrick Hallisey leads the way for the Eagles at +2 and is tied for 15th overall while senior Nicholas Pandelena is a stroke behind him at +3 and T17. Senior Brian Butler is also in the top 25 overall, recording a +4 which is tied for 21st.
Hallisey and Pandelena both fired opening-round scores of 72, even par.
Freshman Matthew Naumec (+7, T35) and junior Patrick Oleksak (+12, T65) are also competing for the Eagles.
BC ranks second in par 5 scoring through two rounds at -6, which is two strokes behind tournament leader TCU. Pandelena is one of three players to record an eagle. Oleksak and Hallisey each have three birdies which is 10th overall.
