Chestnut Hill, Mass. - No. 1 Boston College hosts No. 3/4 Quinnipiac on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. in BC’s third top-ten matchup of the season. The Eagles look to keep the longest winning streak (20 games) and undefeated streak (23 games) in program history alive against the Bobcats.

Team Records
- The first-ranked Boston College Eagles sit at 22-0-1 (15-0-0 WHEA) on the season heading into Saturday’s contest at Kelley Rink. The 2014-15 BC squad has outscored its opponents 133-25 through 23 games. The Eagles boast the number one scoring offense in the country, scoring 5.78 goals per game.
- No. 3/4 Quinnipiac is 20-2-3 (11-1-2 ECAC) through its first 25 games of the season. The Bobcats have the first-ranked scoring defense in the nation, holding teams to 0.92 goals per game.
- QU’s two losses came at No. 10/10 Harvard on Dec. 6 and No. 6/7 Boston University on Jan. 21. BC’s lone tie came against St. Lawrence on Oct. 11. The Bobcats also tied St. Lawrence, 2-2, on Nov. 22.
Team Leaders
- Boston College junior forwards Alex Carpenter (23-32-55) and Haley Skarupa (20-26-46) lead the league—and the nation—in points per game, with 2.62 and 2.19 PPG, respectively. The linemates have combined for 43 of the Eagles’ 133 goals (32.3%).
- Freshman Taylar Cianfarano (14-10-24) is the leading scorer for the Bobcats, tied for 32nd in the nation with 1.00 PPG. Cianfarano tops the nation in game-winners, scoring seven for Quinnipiac.
Battle of the Brick Walls
- BC and Quinnipiac are the only two teams in the nation with goals against averages that dip below one. QU’s Chelsea Laden leads the country with a 0.91 GAA, while Eagle netminder Katie Burt is second with a 0.93 GAA.
- Burt (.951) has an edge over Laden (.940) in save percentage, while Laden (12) comes in ahead of Burt (6) in shutouts.
The Last Meeting
- The Eagles and Bobcats last met on Nov. 15, 2013 when No. 5 BC fell, 3-2, to No. 7/9 Quinnipiac in Hamden, Conn.
- Kristyn Capizzano notched a goal and an assist in the contest, but QU’s Kelly Babstock notched the game-winning goal with just two minutes left in regulation to upset the Eagles.
