HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the first 2:35 of the game. Brown hit a pair of 3-pointers to ignite the run.
- With the lead at 15-8, the Eagles went on a 10-2 run to make it a 25-10 advantage with 8:07 left in the half. Brown had matched Harvard as a team with 10 points for the first 12:04 of the game.
- BC kept the lead in double digits for the remainder of the half and took a 30-19 lead into the locker room.
- Harvard started the second half by scoring the first five points to make it a 30-24 game, but BC responded with five of its own to push the lead back to 11 points.
- The Crimson then went on a 15-4 run over a span of almost nine minutes to tie it up, 39-39, with 6:54 left. It was the first tie since 2-2.
- Harvard took its first lead of the game, 43-41, with an Evan Cummings dunk at the 5:23 mark.
- The teams traded buckets down to the end of regulation. Brown hit a layup with 19 seconds left to send the game into overtime.
- With Boston College holding a 56-54 lead in overtime, the Eagles went on a 6-1 run to take a 62-55 lead with 17 seconds left. Heckmann had five of the points in that span.
