Women's XC Takes Second at Nassaney Invitational

All freshmen runners who participated in the race placed in the top 25 in their first Division I collegiate performances. Three freshmen finished in the top 20. Isabelle Kennedy placed 9th clocking a time of 18:37.5 while Clarissa Modde finished 18th at 18:58.5 and Laura Leff placed 20th with a time of 19:04.7.
Sophomore Danna Levin lead the Eagles placing 8th with a time of 18:35.5.
As a team, Boston College finished second to Boston University with a team score of 18:46.9.
The women's cross country team's next race is the Minuteman Invitational Sep. 13 in Amhert, Mass.
Smithfield, R.I. – Boston College women’s cross country competed at the 2014 Nassaney Invitational at Bryant University Saturday, Sep. 6. Overall, six BC runners placed in the top 20 and nine in the top 25 in the women’s college 5K.
