Rowing Announces 28 New Members To Squad

Boston College Women's Rowing welcomes 28 first-year team members to the roster for the 2014-15 season.
These 28 athletes are a mix of experienced rowers, coxswains, and novice rowers. The 27 freshmen and one sophomore were officially named to the team on Sept. 17th after a two-week period that ended with a tryout.
"This is the most experienced and talented freshmen group we have ever had at BC. We have already been putting challenges in front of them, and we are excited to see them challenge themselves and each other this year," assistant coach Amy Weatherby said.
Last season, the Varsity teams did well in non-conference regattas, placing in the top three multiple times. The ACC provided a challenge, with the Eagles finishing 7th in the conference.
