Volleyball to Host BC Invitational

College of the Holy Cross, members of the Patriot League, University of Hartford from the America East Conference, and Marist College of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference comprise the tournament field.
Three matches are scheduled for Friday with Holy Cross taking on the host team at noon to kick off the tournament. Holy Cross plays two in a row, taking on Marist at 4:30 p.m. The Eagles match up against Hartford at 7:00 p.m. to conclude day one of the tournament.
Hartford and Holy Cross will start off day two of the invitational at 11:00 a.m., followed by Marist versus Hartford at 3:00 p.m. For the final match of the tournament, Boston College will face off versus Marist at 7:00 p.m.
The 6th Boston College Invitational will serve as the first tournament of the 2014-15 season for the Eagles. Coach Campbell and his team will travel to New Haven, Conn. the following weekend for the Yale University Invitational.
The Eagles, coming into the 2014 season with nine returners and adding five new players, are looking to start off their season strong with a three game home stand.

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College volleyball team will begin their 2014 campaign at home as they host the four-team, two-day BC Invitational tournament Friday, Aug. 29 and Saturday, Aug. 30.
