Men's Soccer Beats Holy Cross, 2-1, In Exhibition

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Boston College men's soccer team came back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to defeat Holy Cross in an exhibition match, 2-1, on Tuesday afternoon at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium.
The Eagles were down 1-0 after the first 45 minutes, but a much improved second half propelled them to a 2-1 victory.
Sophomore Isaac Normesinu tallied the equalizer in the 63rd minute on a great feed from junior Atobra Ampadu. Eight minutes later, freshman Mohammed Moro scored the game-winner on an assist from junior Derrick Boateng.
Junior Alex Kapp and senior Keady Segel split time in goal for the Eagles.
Boston College will take on Connecticut on Saturday in its second and final exhibition match of the preseason. The Eagles open the 2014 campaign on August 29 against Iona.
