Women's Golf Competes at the Gold Rush

YORBA LINDA, Ca. – The Boston College women’s golf team faced stiff competition from California's finest at the Gold Rush presented by Farmers Insurance at Yorba Linda Country Club on Monday April 7 and Tuesday April 8.
The Eagles finished in 10th place with a final team score of 959, beating Northern Arizona by 11 strokes.
Junior Cristina McQuiston led the way for BC with a three round total of 231. McQuiston’s +15 was good for an eighteenth place tie overall on the individual leaderboard.
Katia Joo (234, +18), Christina Wang (244, +28), Regan Simeone (252, +36), and Lelesse Mocio (267, +51) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.
Gonzaga finished first overall at +29, followed by Long Beach State at +33, and UC Riverside and CSU Fullerton tied for 3rd at +49.
The women’s golf team will close out their spring schedule at the ACC Championships on April 17 in Greensboro, N.C.
