Westphal Named To All-ACC Academic Team

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sophomore Liv Westphal has been named to the 2014 All-ACC Academic Women's Indoor Track & Field Team, announced today by Commissioner John Swofford.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
Westphal finished in the top seven in all four 3000m races she ran during the indoor season, including a fifth-place finish at the ECAC Championships (9:26.07) and a sixth-place showing at the ACC Championships (9:29.91).
Her time of 9:16.35 at the BU Terrier Invitational was a personal record and ranks third all-time at Boston College.
