Men's Golf Competes at Bandon Dunes Invitational

BANDON DUNES, Ore. – The Boston College men’s golf team competed at the three-day Bandon Dunes Invitational, finishing up on Tuesday. The Eagles tied for 13th overall with a team score of 913, +61 at the par-71, 6,560-yard Pacific Dunes golf course.
John Jackopsic took the top spot for Boston College, finishing tied for 39th with a score of 224, +11. Jackopsic played consistently throughout the tournament, posting scores of 74, 75 and 75. Nicholas Pandelena took second on the team, shooting a 227, +14. He had the lowest round out of everyone on the team with a 68 in round one, posting five birdies and just two bogeys.
Patrick Oleksak (233, +20), Andy Mai (235, +22) and Jakob van de Flierdt (250, +37) rounded out the top five for the Eagles.
Boston College will compete next at the Middleburg Bank Men’s Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va. March 23-25.
