2014-15 Women's Track & Field Schedule Announced

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – The 2014-15 Boston College women’s track and field schedule has been finalized, as announced by head coach Randy Thomas and assistant coach Julie Heyde Friday afternoon.
The indoor track season kicks off Saturday, Dec. 6 at Boston University. The Eagles return to Boston University five times throughout the season for the BU, UMass, Sacred Heart meet (Jan. 22), the BU Terrier Classic (Jan. 30), the BU Scarlet & White Invitational (Feb. 7), the BU Valentine Invitational (Feb. 13), and the BU Last Chance Meet (Mar. 1).
The 2014-15 schedule is also highlighted by the Harvard Multi-Meet from Jan. 16-17.
Indoor postseason begins on Feb. 26 with the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships hosted by Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va. The Eagles then look ahead to the ECAC Indoor Championships at Boston University from Mar. 6-8.
The indoor season culminates with the NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Arkansas in Fayeteville, Ark. from Mar. 13-14.
The outdoor track and field schedule commences with the Raleigh Relays at NC State from Mar. 27-28. The Boston College women’s track and field team will compete at a number of invitationals (Tufts University Invitational, UConn Invitational, Stanford University Invitational, UMass Invitational) before heading to Philadelphia for the Penn Relays from Apr. 23-25.
BC will head across the Charles River for the New England Championships in Cambridge, Mass. from May 8-9 before traveling to Tallahassee, Fla. for the ACC Championships at Florida State from May 14-16.
The NCAA Regionals take place in Jacksonville, Fla. from May 28-30 before the NCAA Championships at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore. from Jun. 11-14.
