EAGLES LOOK FOR FOURTH-STRAIGHT WIN AGAINST BINGHAMTON
• Boston College will host Binghamton on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. inside Conte Forum.
• The game will be televised on ESPN3 with Eric Frede and Malcolm Huckaby on the call.
• This is the first meeting between the schools on the hardwood.
• The Eagles have won the first three games of their six-game December homestand. They defeated Maine on Thursday night, 85-74.
• Binghamton has dropped 10 of its first 11 games this season, including its last eight outings.
• The Bearcats' lone win came against Hartwick on November 19, 82-51.
• Binghamton is 0-5 on the road and lost at Colgate on Thursday night, 65-44.
MAINE HIGHLIGHTS
• Boston College had five players score in double figures, led by graduate student Aaron Brown with 21. He was 8-for-16 from the floor.
• Junior Dennis Clifford recorded a career-high 19 points to go along with seven rebounds, three blocks and two steals. He was 9-for-11 from the free throw line.
• Graduate student Dimitri Batten had 12 points and four assists while junior Olivier Hanlan had 10 points and six assists.
• Senior Patrick Heckmann notched 13 points and four steals.
• Boston College opened the game with a 17-8 run over the first 5:35 and never gave up that lead.
• Boston College held a 30-8 lead in points off turnovers.
STREAKS
• Boston College has won three-straight games for the first time since March of 2013. It did not win three straight last season.
• The Eagles are 4-0 at Conte Forum to start the year which is the best start since the 2009-10 season.
• It is also the first time BC has won five of its first eight games since 2010-11 - the last time it made a postseason appearance.
BIG GAME FOR THE BIG GUY
• Junior Dennis Clifford broke through for a career-high 19 points in the win over Maine.
• He was 9-for-11 from the free throw line which were also career highs.
• Clifford also added seven rebounds (his fourth game with 7+), three blocks and two steals.
• The Bridgewater, MA product had scored six points in each of the first seven games.
• Clifford leads the team in rebounding (5.8) and blocks (10), and is second in field goal percentage (.486).
• He is averaging 23.1 minutes per game which is the most since his freshman year. He spent the last two seasons battling knee issues.
