Sailing Receives Weekly Honors

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College sailing team had a successfull week on the water. The team won three events then swept the NEISA Sailor of the Week awards.
Raul Rios, Allson Ferraris, Alex Palfrey and Domenic Bove won the A Division at the Schell Torphy Regatta and were named the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week. Rios and his crew finished no race outside the top seven after day one. The Eagles earned just six points in the A Division on Sunday to help BC win the overall event.
At the Urn Trophy Regatta, Allyson Donahue, Katherine Downey, Emily Schalka and Maddison Loosbrock won the B Division to earn NEISA Women's Sailors of the Week. The B Divisoinm team was consistent all weekend as they were in the top 10, including six finishes in the top three. This helped the Eagles win the Urn Trophy over the weekend.
The team swept the weekend at the Conference Championships winning the Schell, Urn and the Nickerson Trophy.
