Boston College wins 74th Professor Erwin Schell Trophy

Vermont hosted the 74th Professor Erwin Schell Trophy, a conference championship regatta, this past weekend. Teams sailed FJ boats and competed in 2 divisions on Lake Champlain. On day one, air temperatures were in the low forties, and had breezes eight-to-sixteen knots. Twelve hotly contested races sailed around a W4. Day two provided a very cold but sunny sixteen-to-twenty knots.
In Division A, BC's Raul Rios '16, Alex Palfrey '17, Allison Ferraris '17 and Domenic Bove '15 came in first place with a score of 44, followed in second place by University of Vermont with a score of 45.
In Divison B, William Bailey '15, Kate Wysocki '15 and Chris Dwyer '15 came in second place with a score of 45.
In total Boston College came in first place with a score of 89, followed by Yale in second place with 101.
