Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College freshman outfielder Scott Braren came to The Heights as the top-ranked outfielder in Connecticut by Perfect Game USA. The Madison, Conn., native earned All-Southern Connecticut Conference accolades all four years of playing at Daniel Hand High School and all-state honors as a senior captain.
The newcomer sat down with Amanda Irving to talk about his hot bat as a senior - he batted .516 with a .913 slugging percentage and a .730 on-base percentage - his choice to come to Boston College and what the transition to college has been like.
