- The Eagles held UMass scoreless for 5:53 during that span.
- BC maintained a lead of at least eight points for the remainder of the half and went into the locker room with a 32-24 lead.
- Hanlan scored 15 of his points in the first half.
- UMass had two steals on BC's first two offensive possessions in the second half. That turned into four quick points to cut the lead to 32-28.
