Q&A With KC Caudill
November 10, 2014 | Men's Basketball
What did you do this summer on and off the court?
"I helped my family move cross country from California to Alabama and I also studied for the law school admission test. On the court, I was pretty limited with my knee. It's mostly been concentrating on getting back from that; my conditioning and my physical shape which everyone knows I need to work on."
What are some of the positive things you've seen in the locker room since the end of last season?
"We're much more upbeat as a team and we have a bigger sense of togetherness, especially because we recognize that it's a new season and nothing that happened last season matters. I'm just trying to do my part to get us where we need to be."
Do you guys feel like you have something to prove?
"Absolutely. I don't think we were anywhere near as bad as our record says we were last year. I think we're going to go out and prove some people wrong."
Why do you wear #5?
"My grandpa. He was class of 1961 at Morehead High School and he wore #5 for their basketball team."
What are you looking forward to the most until the season opener?
"Personally, getting back on the floor before we open the season and being able to contribute. As a team, cementing the sense of togetherness that we've felt since we opened preseason practice."
