Boston College sailor Erika Reineke won the NEISA women's singlehanded invidual championship over the weekend in New York on the Long Island Sound. Reineke registered 14 points while the second place finisher Dana Rohde from the US Coast Guard with 33 points.

In the 12 races ran over the weekend, Reineke placed first in 11. The Eagles junior is now the three-time NEISA champion in this event.This win qualifies her for the National Championship in November.
