Women's XC Places First at CCSU Mini Meet

New Britain, Conn. - The Boston College women's cross country team placed first overall in the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet Friday afternoon with a score of 52 points. BC placed all seven runners in the top 30 in the varsity 3K race.
Senior captain Madeline Davidson, the first Eagle finisher, placed fourth overall at 10:11.94 in the women's 3K. Megan Young finished shortly after at 10:18.23 in sixth place.
Sophomore Danna Levin placed 12th (10:27.25), junior Megan Ritchie finished in 14th place (10:28.41), and freshman Laura Leff placed 16th (10:30.03) to round out the top five Boston College performers.
Senior Katherine O'Keefe finished at 10:34.64 and redshirt sophomore Elizabeth Predmore crossed the finish line at 10:45.06.
In the sub varsity race, sophomore Amanda Rickert placed first overall with a time of 10:36.44 and helped lead the Eagles to second place in the sub varsity section.
The Eagles are back in action at the ACC Championships on Oct. 31 in Earlysville, VA.
