Five Eagles Named to USWNT Four Nations Roster
October 02, 2014 | Women's Hockey
Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Five current Boston College women's ice hockey players have been named to the U.S. Women's National Team roster for the Four Nations Cup.
Junior forwards Alex Carpenter, Haley Skarupa, and Dana Trivigno will skate for the USWNT as it competes against Finland, Canada, and Sweden in this year's tournament. Freshman Megan Keller and senior captain Emily Pfalzer will represent the Eagles on defense.
Former Boston College goaltender and 2014 Olympic Silver Medalist Molly Schaus is also on the roster. Both Schaus and Carpenter competed in the 2013 Four Nations Cup along with Kelli Stack, also a BC women's hockey alumna.
Last year, the U.S. Women's National Team placed third at the tournament. The United States will look to capture its sixth first place title in 2014.
The 2014 Four Nations Cup will be held Nov. 4-8 at Interior Savings Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia.
