Women's XC Competes at New Englands

New England Championships Results
Boston, Mass. – Boston College women’s cross country ran in the 2014 New England Championships Saturday, Oct. 11 at the historic Franklin Park course in Boston.
In the varsity race, junior Megan Ritchie was the Eagles’ top performer of the day, finishing 29th in a field of 262 runners at 18:15.50. Freshman Clarissa Modde (18:44.97) and junior Kathy O’Keefe (18:46.26) rounded out the top three finishers for Boston College.
Boston College junior Elizabeth Predmore finished fourth overall (18:48.52) in a field of 301 runners in the women’s junior varsity 5K. Freshman teammate Claudia DiSomma finished behind Predmore in 10th place, clocking a time of 19:02.0 in her first collegiate cross country race.
As a team, BC placed 15th with a team score of 366 in the women’s varsity 5K. The junior varsity Eagles finished sixth overall with a team score of 190.
The Boston College women’s cross country team is back in action next weekend at the Wisconsin Adidas Meet in Madison, Wisc.
