Eagles Finish Strong at the BC Central Series Regatta

Chestnut Hill, MA - Over the weekend, Boston College sailing hosted the BC Central Series, an In- Conference Regatta. The Eagles finished strong, placeing third and fifth overall in this regatta, behind Tufts University (1st) and Dartmouth College (2nd) and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (4th). In Division A, Harry Koeppel '17 and Emily Vasiliou placed first in Boat 1 with 28 points, while Marcos Darcy '16 and Savanna Brown '16 in Boat 2 placed ninth with 81 points. In Division B, Maxwell Simmons '17 and Emily Schalka '15 placed fourth with 47 points in Boat 1, while Henry Dumke `17 and Christopher Dwyer '15 placed fifth with 54 points in Boat 2. These placements averaged out to an overall third and fifth place finishes for Boats 1 and 2 respectively.
